| Maribel has over 10 years experience in early childhood language education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru with graduate work in early childhood education at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Maribel's work in clinical psychology at Children's Hospital of Peru, St. Joseph's Hospital and the Cerebral Palsy Center of NJ included supervising behavioral management of special needs children and developing workshops for the parents of children with behavioral and academic difficulties. From 2000-2005 Maribel led preschool classrooms as a teacher in California and New Jersey including implementation of the Creative Curriculum. She became a director at KISS in 2006, and executive director in 2007, overseeing the establishment of both the Walnut Creek and Montclair campuses. |
