Marita studied Education at the Universidad Garcilaso de la Vega and continued her studies with certification in Early Childhood Education from Diablo Valley College. Her teaching career began in Lima, Peru; She taught at Maria Mazzarello pre-school in Lima before coming to this country. She joined the KISS team in 2007.
