| Marcela began her career in the arts, studying dance at the College of Arts of the Universidad de Chile, that nation's oldest university. While still a student Marcela was selected to join the renowned dance company, Ballet Folklorico Nacional de Chile. She danced professionally for 10 years, touring with the company across her country and around the world. Marcela studied at Diablo Valley College to earn her teacher's certification. She has been working as a preschool teacher since 2005 and came to KISS in 2008, where she teaches our 2-year-olds. Marcela grew up a country girl on her family's 50 acre vineyard where she developed a love of the nature that takes her outdoors for camping or hiking at every opportunity. |
