Carmen came to the US as a teenager in 1985 and became a citizen. Her career began in the field of customer service, where she worked for ten years. She happily changed tracks to dedicate herself fully to her family and raising her daughter, Noelle; She has been married for 22 years.

Carmen returned to school to study for her teaching credentials in order to more fully participate in her daughters education. With that in mind she came to teach at KISS at the same time her daughter, Noelle, matriculated in the 2s class. She has been a much beloved part of the KISS family since 2007.
